My love of the Australian outback and the many large desert style large cattle and sheep stations that are part of the Northern ends of Australia inspired me to paint this Drover with his Akubra hat. I have a lot of admiration for Drovers as they work in very hot and very dusty conditions! It is very hard work but they love what they do and working the land. There are many famous poems written about the Drover.
